Xiao Yan Zi - Li Sheng
I'm not sure how she is in action but in pictures she certainly has some semblance to vicky and looks like she can pull off the naughty and cute factor. Yet she seems to lack that tomboyish quality that Vicky naturally exuded, something that made Xiao Yan Zi more alive and believable.
Xia Zi Wei - Hai Lu
I'm very disappointed with this choice. I don't know why she is picked but her looks is completely not how I imagined Zi Wei to be at all! She's cute at best but is not what I would call pretty and she lacks that matured, wise, nostalgic and intelligent look that Zi Wei is supposed to have. Not that Ruby had that look naturally but she could pull it off. This girl...I just couldn't see it.
Wu Ah Ge = Zhang Hang Rui
Don't get me started with this guy...he looks polar opposite from the loving and cute Wu Ah Ge. Instead he just looks childish and naughty.
Fu ErKang - He Ming Han
I feel like this guy would actually look more like Wu Ah Ge...as Fu ErKang he just looks too nice.
He is a new guy and is supposed to have a love interest for Xiao Yan Zi. @_@ Like wtf..
I usually don't like to discriminate remakes even though they tend to come out bad because I think that they at least deserves a chance. Perhaps not at something better but something different. Yet, I can't help but be terribly disappointed with the cast because unless Qiong Yao turned this into a completely different story with completely different characters (which to what I know is not the case) I don't see it working for me. Well at least here's a good news. Ruby is actually guest staring in the role of Zi Wei's mother Xia Yuhe according to this article: http://community.liv...dnt/418815.html
